LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Police Friday were asking for the public’s help in locating a missing elderly man with Alzheimer’s.

Feliciano Ramos Hernandez, 89, was last seen Thursday around 8 a.m. walking away from a home in the 100 block of E. 68th St.

In addition to Alzheimer’s, Hernandez may also suffer from dementia.

He is described as an Hispanic man, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey sweater and black pants.

Local hospitals have been alerted and area law enforcement and public transportation agencies have also been notified. 

Anyone who sees Hernandez or has information about his whereabouts was asked to contact the Long Beach Police Department at (562)435-6711 or 9-1-1.
