PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said a man crashed his vehicle into the porch of a family’s home in Pasadena moments after he was shot.

The 25-year-old unidentified victim lost control of his car and crashed into a home just south of Washington Boulevard.

The shooting occurred in the 1300 block of N. Marengo Avenue around 12:30 a.m., according to Glendale Police Lt. Yazken Gourdikian.

No one inside the house was injured and the gunshot victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Because of the ongoing investigation, details regarding the shooting or any suspect information were not immediately available.

The unidentified victim was also described as being uncooperative with the investigation.

“There appears to be more at hand here,” Gourdikian said. “We are looking for witnesses still.”

Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call Pasadena detectives at (626) 744-4518 or (626) 744-4241. All tips can be made anonymously.
