$10K Reward Offered In Finding Suspect In Grand Theft At Raging Waters

SAN DIMAS (CBSLA.com) — Detectives Friday announced a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect wanted for stealing personal property from Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies at a San Dimas water park.

The incident took place Sept. 22 at Raging Waters, 111 Lakeside Road, when the water park hosted a private party for members of the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriff's and their families.

"Two bags containing personal items and two Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff's badges and identification were stolen," officials said.

Descriptions of the suspects and pictures were released to the public Oct. 17, which resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old girl and the identification of Randy Sandoval.

Sandoval, of El Monte, is described as a 19-year-old Hispanic man. He's 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding Sandoval's whereabouts or the stolen property was asked to contact Det. Janice Banks at (661)294-3544 or (213)276-8108.
