Police Question Bloody, Stabbed Man At West Covina 7-Eleven

WEST COVINA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities on Saturday questioned a 20-something man they said was found bloodied at a West Covina 7-Eleven.

The man told police he had been stabbed at a house party.

The unidentified victim had been stabbed once in the torso. He said the stabbing occurred after a fight broke out, said West Covina Police Lt. Dennis Tatton.

The man told police his friends were trying to drive him to the hospital when they, instead, decided to stop at the convenience store and call an ambulance.

The store is located in the 2800 block of Valley Boulevard.

An ambulance was dispatched around 3:20 a.m.

Police did not know the location of the party.

The victim was taken to the hospital. He reportedly had stable life signs.
