Man Dies After Crashing Car Into Riverside Palm Tree
RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a man has been killed in a single-vehicle collision in Riverside.
The crash in the 1800 block of Third Street was reported just after 7:06 p.m. Friday.
A witness told police that the driver was traveling at approximately 100 miles per hour when he lost control and collided into a palm tree.
The unidentified driver was described male.
He was taken to an area hospital where he died.
A female passenger was also transported to the hospital in serious condition.
