Man Arrested After Standoff At Pico Rivera Home
PICO RIVERA (CBSLA.com) — A man was arrested after barricading himself inside a home in Pico Rivera Friday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.
Deputies responded to a home on Slauson Avenue, near Crossway Drive, around 8:50 a.m. where the suspect had reportedly spray painted "F*** LA COPS" in the street and hung a sign outside the residence stating a similar message.
Deputies made entry into the home at 9:20 a.m. and rescued an elderly woman.
The suspect was arrested minutes later. It was unclear what prompted the standoff.
