REDLANDS (AP) — A man suspected of nearly decade-old rape has been arrested in connection with the murder of a woman found in a Redlands orange grove earlier this year.

Police arrested 34-year-old Sue Robert Seiuli near a family member’s home in Colton late Saturday for investigation of murder. He was being held without bail.

Seiuli is accused of killing 23-year-old Sylvia Marie Flores, whose body was found in an orange grove in February. Police say DNA evidence found in the Flores case matched that of a suspect involved in a 2003 kidnap, rape and assault, also in Redlands.

Last month, police released a sketch of the suspect and began receiving tips soon thereafter.
