Police Locate Missing Encino Man, 23

UPDATE AS OF 2:20 p.m.: Police say they have located Farhoud Asgarifateh and are working to reunite him with his family.

OXNARD (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Saturday asked for the public's help in locating a missing man who suffers from Schizophrenia and Asperger syndrome.

Family members told police they last saw Farhoud Asgarifateh, 23, on Oct. 24.

However, the Encino man was spotted at a Shell gas station at the intersection of North Rose Avenue and Gonzales Road early Saturday morning, according to police.

Asgarifateh was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Police also said he has a full beard and was carrying a grey backpack.

Anyone with information as to Asgarifateh's whereabouts was asked to contact the Oxnard Public Safety Communications Center at (805) 385-7740.
