A Romantic Urban Escape At Grand Hope Park
By Nicole Cormier
Sometimes the best moments with a special someone are those sweet escapes that you fit into a busy day. Grand Hope Park, a little piece of heaven tucked between 9th Street, Olympic Ave, Grand Ave and South Hope Street, is the perfect way to steal away some time together.
This little park is run by a non-profit organization rather than the city of Los Angeles and features cute sculptures, a nice fountain, a children’s playground and is kept in immaculate condition. Pack a nice lunch, find a spot in the shade or at one of the many picnic benches and spend some time with your sweetheart. This urban escape is lauded as one of the cleanest and best kept parks in the city, so enjoy it with the person you enjoy the most. The park is not dog-friendly, so keep that in mind if you’re looking to bring your furry friend.
When driving around Los Angeles, be sure to navigate the city streets in a vehicle that can handle the twists, turns and one ways with ease. A 2013 C350 Coupe from Mercedes-Benz of Encino is the perfect match of beauty and performance, and will impress your date with your refined class.
