4 Hurt In Fiery Crash On 605 Freeway In El Monte

EL MONTE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say four people have been injured in a fiery, multi-vehicle wreck in El Monte.

The crash happened on the southbound lanes of the 605 Freeway at Ramona Boulevard.

Authorities say one person had to be airlifted to an area hospital.

The condition of the other injured parties was not immediately known.

One of the vehicles involved in the collision reportedly spun out and then caught fire.

No further information was immediately available.
