Registered Sex Offender Charged With Flashing Teen At OC Wal-Mart

ORANGE (CBSLA.com) — A 24-year-old registered sex offender was charged Wednesday with exposing himself to a teen girl while she was shopping with her grandmother at a Wal-Mart in Orange.

Imran Ali Uddin, of Anaheim, was charged with one count each of lewd or lascivious act with a minor and indecent exposure. He is expected to be arraigned Nov. 8.

Uddin allegedly flashed and fondled himself in front of the victim Oct. 3 in an aisle of a Wal-Mart located at 2300 N. Tustin Street, Orange police Sgt. Fred Lopez said. The suspect reportedly fled when she went to tell her grandmother what happened.

Uddin, who was arrested Monday, was denied bail. He was convicted of misdemeanor indecent exposure in Dec. 2009, according to court documents. Records showed he was sentenced to 29 days in jail and was put on informal probation for three years, which expired in February.
