LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A car flew over the side of the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles Wednesday night and crashed into the yard of a home.

Sky2’s Gil Leyvas reported that the incident happened shortly before 9:20 p.m. as the motorist was driving on the transition road from the southbound 110 to the westbound 10 Freeway.

The driver left the scene after the accident.

California Highway Patrol officers continue to search for the person behind the wheel.

No one was injured inside the house.
