Registered Sex Offender Arrested After Allegedly Exposing Himself To Teen At OC Wal-Mart

ORANGE (CBSLA.com) — A registered sex offender accused of exposing himself to a 13-year-old girl as she shopped in Wal-Mart with her grandmother was in custody Tuesday, police said.

Orange police arrested 24-year-old Imran Ali Uddin of Anaheim Monday on suspicion of indecent exposure, Sgt. Gred Lopez of the Orange Police Department said.

Julie Evans and her granddaughter were shopping for gifts in the baby aisle of the Wal-Mart in Orange when police said the suspect began tracking the victim.

According to Lopez, Uddin exposed and fondled himself in front of the teen in an aisle of the store October 3. He reportedly fled when she went to tell her grandmother.

Uddin was convicted of misdemeanor indecent exposure in 2009, according to court documents. Records show he served 29 days in jail and was put on informal probation for three years, which expired in February.
