Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 22)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Look for more of the same as we make our way through the early half of this work week.

A weak disturbance will help to kick up a little more marine layer over the next 48 hours. This will also keep our temperatures below average by three or four degrees.

Once the low moves through late Wednesday, we will see some warming for Thursday and Friday. Actually, Saturday looks like a nice day as well.

There is a cut-off low (weatherman's woe) that is going to develop for the latter half of the weekend and the beginning of next week. This will bring us cooler temperatures and it will also bring gusty winds. However, these systems tend to take on a life of their own, so for the time being, enjoy the benign weather.

Basin - mid 70s

Beaches - upper 60s

Valleys - low 80s

Mountains - low 60s

Deserts - low 80s
