She was taken to an area hospital where she was treated for a non-life threatening stab wound.

The incident unfolded about 9:11 p.m. Saturday near the 13000 block of Partridge.

The lieutenant said in a department statement that the victim was first assaulted and then stabbed.

The suspect, identified by police as 34-year-old Joshua Frank Olivas of Garden Grove, allegedly fled in his vehicle, which was found a short time later.

Olivas is 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighs 280 pounds. He has black hair and multiple tattoos.
