PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say they’re searching for an Eagle Rock man accused of opening fire on a car that was carrying his 2-year-old son and the child’s mother.

Police received a “shots fired” call about 2 p.m. Saturday and responded to Raymond and Hammond streets near Robinson Park.

Upon arriving on scene, officers say they found no evidence of a shooting or a crime scene.

About an hour later, officers say they received a call from a woman reporting the incident.

Neither mother nor child were harmed.

The identity of those involved has been withheld, police said.
