1 Killed, 1 Injured In 2-Vehicle Crash In Inland Empire
JURUPA VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Sunday said one person was killed and a second person was injured in a two-vehicle collision in the Inland Empire.
Riverside County Fire Department Spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson says the crash happened shortly before 1 a.m. on Jurupa Valley Road and Galena Street.
"The first arriving company reported two patients, one that perished at the scene and the second extricated patient that was transported to an area hospital with major injuries," Hendrickson said.
The accident marked the second fatal traffic accident in the area within the past two days.
On Saturday, a 20-year-old Corona man was killed in a solo-vehicle rollover crash on Mission Boulevard in Jurupa Valley.
