10 Kids Treated For Minor Injuries After SUV, School Bus Collision

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Ten children were treated for minor injuries at local hospitals Wednesday after a school bus they were riding in collided with an SUV in San Bernardino, according to fire officials.

The crash was reportedly shortly after 8 a.m. near the corner of 9th and H streets, according to Fire Department Battalion Chief Nathan Cook.

The bus was carrying elementary to middle school age students. The driver of the SUV was uninjured.

The children were transported for "complaints of different types of pains," Cook told KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO.

An investigation into the cause of the crash was underway.
