Man, 2 Women Found Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide

EL MONTE (CBSLA.com) — A man and two women were found dead Tuesday night in El Monte in an apparent murder-suicide.

Police responded to a shots fired call at 7:30 p.m. at a duplex at the intersection of Baldwin Avenue and the 9900 block of Marshall Street.

Authorities discovered the victims in the garage of a home. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives believe a man in his 50s shot the two 30-something women before he turned the gun on himself.

Although a motive is unclear, a witness said an argument preceded the shootings.

CBS2's Rachel Kim reported that the male suspect is believed to be the father of one of the victims.

No other information was made available.
