Police Disperse Crowd After Disturbance Outside Lincoln Heights Nightclub

LINCOLN HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — Several streets remained closed in Lincoln Heights after police dispersed a crowd of nearly 100 people outside a nightclub Wednesday night.

Police said rocks and bottles were thrown at officers as crowds spilled out onto Broadway and Daly St. after a performance at the Airliner club.

Officers reportedly faced the crowd in riot gear and asked for backup from the Sheriff's Department.

Several blocks of Broadway from Avenue 24 to Daly St. remained shut down.

No arrests were made.
