SANTA MONICA (CBSLA.com) — A Los Angeles Dodgers flag was hoisted 55 feet above the ocean in Santa Monica on Sunday.
The big blue flag now sits atop Santa Monica Pier’s roller coaster adjacent to an American flag.
City News Service reports that it is expected to stay up as long as the team stays in the National League Division and World Series games, a PR company announced.
The Dodgers are currently tied 1-1 with the Atlanta Braves in the best-of-five NLDS.
The team will host game 3 of the series at Dodger Stadium this afternoon.
