Hip Hop & Orchestral Music Collide In A 'Free For All' Concert On Oct. 11

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Hip hop and orchestral music collide in a free concert on Fri. Oct. 11!

Rachael Worby, Artistic Director, MUSE/IQUE and Musician Double G visited the KCAL9 studios Thursday to talk about the upcoming show.

MUSE/IQUE, known for its inspired, unexpected live music events, will kick off the season with a "Free for All" on the plaza of the Pasadena Civic Center from 6 to 9 p.m.

The annual evening features members of the MUSE/IQUE Orchestra and Double G NineNet, comprised of members of the daKAH Hip Hop Orchestra, a genre-bending, culture-blending "United Nations of music" led by Geoff Gallegos (Double G).

Dancers, face painting and other special activities for children will also be at the concert.
