Police Seek Public's Help To Find Missing Long Beach Man

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Wednesday asked for the public's help in locating a missing man who suffers from dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

Richard John Aflleje, 68, was last seen at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

His family discovered that he was missing from his home in the area of 53rd Street and Olive Avenue just before 6 a.m., police said.

Aflleje, who is undergoing dialysis, speaks both English and Tagalog.

He was described as being of Pacific Islander decent. He's 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a yellow Lakers shirt and black Dickies pants and his left arm has an implanted heplock for dialysis.
