Gala Aims To Raise Money For Specialized Clinic In South LA

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Spend an "Evening Under The Stars" while raising money for those in need.

Areva D. Martin, Attorney, Author and Media Commentator, and Actress Vanessa Bell Calloway, visited the KCAL9 studios Wednesday to talk about the Special Needs Network's 8th annual Evening Under the Stars event to raise money for a specialized medical clinic that will serve children with autism and other developmental disorders.

The medical clinic will be LA's first-ever autism medical clinic on the campus of the historic Martin Luther King Hospital in South LA, providing access to quality medical and developmental specialists to children with a range disabilities and their families.

This exclusive, star-studded event will be held at The Ebell Club of Los Angeles and emceed by popular CBS sports broadcast personality Jim Hill and actress Vanessa Bell Calloway.
