2 Hurt After Car Crashes Into Valley Village Restaurant

VALLEY VILLAGE (CBSLA.com) — At least two people were hurt Tuesday after a minivan crashed into a San Fernando Valley restaurant, according to reports.

L.A. City Fire crews responded to a report of a vehicle into a structure at 2:13 p.m. at the Tang Thai China Cafe at 5219 Laurel Canyon Blvd. near Vanowen in Valley Village, according to the LAFD.

All occupants were removed from the vehicle, which was seen having crashed through the glass doors of the restaurant, SKY9’s Derek Bell reported.

The restaurant suffered only minimal structural damage, according to fire officials.

No other information was immediately available.
