Muir High Student Reported Missing Is Found Safe
PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a teen who was reported missing Friday has been found and is safe.
A statement issued by the Pasadena Police Department says 15-year-old Jennifer Tellez has been returned home.
The teen was reported missing after failing to come home. She was last seen leaving the campus of Muir High School about 3 p.m. Friday.
Police said she reportedly spent the evening at a friend's house but didn't let her parents know.
Police said this instance marked the first time Tellez hasn't returned directly home.
No further details were released.
