LAPD Looks For Additional Victims Of Alleged Sexual Assault Suspect

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Police Department is looking for additional victims of an alleged sexual assault suspect.

Authorities said they will hold a news conference Monday morning and release a photo of suspect John Everett Perry.

Police say Perry, 34, sexually assaulted two males on September 24th in the Los Feliz area.

They allege around 7:30 that morning, Perry approached a 15-year-old and asked him if he was interested in modeling. When the boy said he was, Perry reportedly lured the boy into his vehicle and sexually assaulted him.

The victim reported the alleged incident to police.

Officials said 45 minutes after the first assault, Perry was seated inside a Starbucks in the 2900 block of Los Feliz Boulevard where he approached another victim, age not reported.

In the second alleged incident, Perry told the man he was a fashion photographer. Police said he lured that man into a bathroom and sexually assaulted him.

Detectives obtained a warrant for Perry's arrest on Wednesday.

Authorities said he was arrested later that day in the Palm Springs area.

Detectives believe there are other possible victims and are asking them to come forward.

To report any criminal activity involving the suspect, the public is asked to call the LAPD Northeast Area Sexual Assault Department, Detectives Gomez or Salazar, (323) 344-5742. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (800-222-8477).
