Police Probe Report Of Shooting In Parking Lot Of Carson's South Bay Pavilion
CARSON (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday were investigating a report of a shooting in the parking lot of South Bay Pavilion mall in the city of Carson.
The incident was reported just before 2 p.m. in the 20700 block of Avalon Boulevard.
A witness told authorities that someone was shot in the leg but reportedly took off in a private car. The suspects were reportedly at large.
As of 2:30 p.m., police said they were still trying to determine whether a shooting had occurred.
The mall was not on lockdown, authorities said.
