LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A portion of the Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport was evacuated Wednesday after a suspicious package was found.

The item was located near the Korean Airlines counter some time after 1 p.m., airport police said.

A 300-foot perimeter around the counter was evacuated while authorities investigated.

Officials cleared the scene at 1:45 p.m. when the item was discovered to be luggage with clothing inside.
