SAN CLEMENTE (CBSLA.com) — Sheriff’s deputies in Orange County are asking for the public’s help in finding a 46-year-old man who has been missing for a week.

Paul Jon Coppin, of San Clemente, was last seen at his residence around 11:30 a.m. last Tuesday by his roommate, Lt. Jeff Hallock said.

Coppin left his cellphone and other belongings in his home. Investigators believe he may also be without cash or credit cards.

Hallock said Coppin, who has ties to Garden Grove, usually talks to his mother daily, but she has not seen or heard from her son.

Anyone with information about Coppin’s whereabouts was asked to call authorities at (714) 647-7055 or (714) 647-7000.
