Mega Millions Jackpot Soars To $160M

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — No ticket matched all six numbers in Friday's Mega Millions draw so the estimated jackpot for Tuesday is $160 million.

The numbers drawn Friday were 1, 15, 20, 21, 47 and the Mega number was 34. The estimated jackpot had been $145 million.

No one has won Mega Millions in eight weeks of play.

Meanwhile, no one hit Powerball Saturday evening -- winning numbers 12, 17, 45, 54, 58 and the Powerball 13 -- and that jackpot is now at $50 million.

Powerball is played in 43 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Powerball starts at $40 million.

Last week, the jackpot reached $400 million. One person in South Carolina won that top prize.
