LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — No ticket matched all six numbers in Friday’s Mega Millions draw so the estimated jackpot for Tuesday is $160 million.

The numbers drawn Friday were 1, 15, 20, 21, 47 and the Mega number was 34. The estimated jackpot had been $145 million.

No one has won Mega Millions in eight weeks of play.

The Mega Millions game is played in 42 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The  jackpot starts at $12 million and climbs every time there is no winner.

The record Mega Millions jackpot went to $656 million in March 2012.

Meanwhile, no one hit Powerball Saturday evening — winning numbers 12, 17, 45, 54, 58 and the Powerball 13 — and that jackpot is now at $50 million.

Powerball is played in 43 states, Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Powerball starts at $40 million.

Last week, the jackpot reached $400 million. One person in South Carolina won that top prize.

The record Powerball jackpot reached $590 million in May 2013.
