Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Sept. 19)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Look for some patchy low clouds this morning, but for the most part a ridge of high pressure is going to bump up a bit today helping to warm things here in the Southland.

We are looking at a three to four degree jump in temperatures with plenty of sunshine.

The on-shore flow strengthens tomorrow as a broad trough along the west coast continues to intensify and swing east.

We will eventually see a healthy drop in temperatures through Sunday along with some gusty winds.

Then Monday and Tuesday we should see a rebound in temperatures.  Another trough dives into the area for the middle of next week, again cooling things down.

Basin - low 80s

Beaches - low to mid70s

Valleys - upper 80s

Mountains - low 70s

Deserts - mid 90s
