Missing 19-Year-Old Student Returns To Family
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A 19-year-old student who was reported missing when she didn't show up to a class over the weekend has returned home to her family, authorities said Wednesday.
Janet Ji Young Choi had last been seen around 11:50 a.m. Saturday at the apartment she shares with her mother, Jessica Lee, in the 1900 block of Maplewood Avenue, police said.
Lee reported Choi missing after she failed to show up for her scheduled class at InArt Studio that day. She also didn't attend class Monday morning at Fairfax High School.
Details about her disappearance were not released.
