WOODLAND HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A woman Thursday was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after she crashed her vehicle into a San Fernando Valley dry cleaning business.

The crash happened around 1 a.m. on Ventura Boulevard, near Oakdale Avenue in Woodland Hills, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

Police said the unidentified driver was speeding while heading westbound on Ventura Boulevard when she lost control of the vehicle or fell asleep at the wheel and crashed.

“She buzzed around me through oncoming traffic, swerved back in, straddling both lanes,” a witness said.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they reported smelling alcohol on the woman’s breath.

She suffered minor injuries in the collision and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

No other injuries were reported.
