LA MIRADA ( — Two men in ski masks robbed an In-N-Out restaurant at gunpoint Thursday in La Mirada.

Officials said the two black males entered the eatery located in the 14300 block of Firestone Boulevard after closing time.

The suspects were let in by an acquaintance of the employees, according to the LA County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities responded to the armed robbery just after 1:20 a.m.

The suspects threatened customers and employees and demanded money from the cash register.

Deputies said after the suspects discovered the cash registers had been emptied, they stole from employees and customers and fled through a side door.

Approximately four employees and four customers were inside the restaurant. No one was injured.

Authorities recovered video footage from inside the location. Some of the stolen property was later recovered a short distance away from the scene.
