FBI: Fugitive Wanted For Attempted Murder Nabbed In Georgia

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A Los Angeles man wanted on suspicion of attempted murder was arrested this week in Georgia, according to the FBI.

Raymond Berry was taken into custody without incident on Thursday night in Woodstock, Ga., after allegedly being on the lam for more than a year.

The FBI says the charges against the 50-year-old Berry stem from an April 2012 altercation involving a family member. The following month, an arrest warrant was issued.

Berry, who was being housed in the Cherokee County Jail, was expected to be returned to California.
