3 Injured In Fiery Multi-Vehicle Crash On SR-60 In Glen Avon
GLEN AVON (CBSLA.com) — Three people were injured Friday in a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 60 in Riverside County.
The accident was reported just before 10:20 a.m. on the eastbound side of the freeway, just west of Country Village Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived, a vehicle was fully engulfed in flames, authorities said.
A woman suffering from second degree burns on 70 percent of her body was airlifted to a local trauma facility. Two patients suffering from minor injuries were transported to a local hospital.
All eastbound lanes were shut down past County Village Road for more than an hour.
