Corporate Executive Chef Vernon Cardenas visited the KCAL9 studios Thursday to talk about the new restaurant where you can eat, drink, enjoy live music, watch the game on their 20 TVs and enjoy a Cigar in their smoke lounge.

Rib Eye Steak w/ Garlic Soy Butter

Ingredients:
14 oz Prime Rib Eye
2 T Soybean oil
4 lg garlic clove
1/4 cup sake (cheap cooking style)
1/4 cup beef stock
1 T soy sauce
3 T unsalted butter
to taste salt & fresh cracked black pepper
pinch Italian parsley (chopped fine)

Preparation Instructions:
season steak with salt and pepper. Preheat pan.
add olive oil and garlic to pan and brown. Strain oil fron golden crispy garlic.
replace oil in pan to brown and sear steak. Remove steak from pan and set aside.
deglaze pan with sake and add garlic chips to sake. Reduce sake and add beef stock and reduce.
add parsley and butter to thicken sauce.
finish steak to desired temp in oven.
plate steak and add broccolini.
