LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A 22-year-old man was charged with murder Wednesday for allegedly stabbing a man to death outside of a hotel in Hollywood.

Julio Cesar Velasquez, who is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 18, was arrested a short time after the stabbing of 29-year-old Orlando Antonio Tobar on Monday at the Best Western Hollywood Plaza in the 2000 block of North Highland Avenue.

Officers who responded to the scene found the victim with stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Authorities said Velasquez was involved in an argument with the victim.
