LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Good news came Monday for nearly 1.5 million cable subscribers in the L.A. area who were told that Time Warner Cable will once again broadcast CBS programming.

The announcement was made just in time for the new TV and NFL seasons.

SoCal viewers can resume watching CBS2 and KCAL9.

Showtime and the Smithsonian Channel are also back, along with CBS Sports Network, which was blacked out in some, but not all areas.

Terms of the deal were not discussed.
