Deadly Shooting In Pomona May Be Gang-Related

POMONA (CBSLA.com) — A man who suffered multiple gunshot wounds in Pomona has died, a police sergeant said Sunday.

Pomona police Sgt. Steve Congalton said officers responded to the 1200 block of Cromwell Street about 4:30 p.m. Saturday following a "shots fired" call.

When officers arrived, they found the victim, described as a black male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The unidentified victim was treated by first responders but died.

The sergeant said that preliminary information suggests that the incident was gang-related.
