Located on Santa Catalina Island and towering over Avalon, the only city that resides there, is The Inn on Mt. Ada. The Inn was originally home to William Wrigley Jr. and the mountain on which the Inn is perched was named after his wife, Ada. After the couples’ death, the home passed hands many times until it was finally leased as The Inn on Mt. Ada, which it has been for the last 18 years.
The Inn on Mt. Ada boasts six uniquely decorated rooms including the Grand Suite, which was Mr. & Mrs. Wrigley’s quarters, to the Beverly Glen. This gorgeous suite offers visitors a cozy fireplace and semi-private balcony. All rooms boast a beautifully unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean or Avalon Bay.
Whichever room you select for your stay, be sure to enjoy the delicious breakfast or lunch offered in order to get the whole pampered experience. Though you can’t get your car over to Catalina Island, drive to the ferry in style. A 2013 C350 Sport Sedan from Mercedes-Benz of Encino will ensure you and all your baggage will make it to your connecting transportation on time.
