Studio City Man, 47, Accused Of Assaulting 2 Women On Flight

STUDIO CITY (CBS/AP) — A Studio City man, who brought his own vodka on an early morning cross-country flight, has been charged with assault for allegedly grabbing two women.

Federal prosecutors say 47-year-old Gregory Meyer was arrested early Friday after his JetBlue flight from Burbank to New York was diverted to Denver.

According to court records, Meyer was visibly drunk from vodka he brought on the plane and had also taken an Ambien sleeping pill.

He's accused of stroking the arm and grabbing the waist of one passenger and grabbing the head of another female passenger sitting in front of him.

The Daily Mail reports that pilots decided to remove Meyer from the flight after flight attendants allegedly complained of his behavior which they described as "assaultive."

Court records didn't list any lawyer being assigned to represent Meyer.
