Long Beach Police To Pass Out Fliers On Serial Groper

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Police Friday will be passing out fliers asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect behind a series of sexual assaults.

KNX 1070's Vytas Safronikas reports Long Beach police say the assualts began in Sept. 2012 and involved female victims ranging in age from 12 to the mid-60s.

All the victims were all walking down a sidewalk when the suspect grabbed either their breast or buttocks as he rode by them on a bicycle.

More than 30 assaults have been reportedly committed by the suspect, with the most recent incident taking place on the evening of Aug. 26 near 7th Street and Redondo Avenue.

The suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male, 5 feet 6 inches to 6 feet tall and between 180 and 240 pounds. He has gray and black hair and is believed to be between 25 and 50 years old, police said.
