Man, 58, With Early Stage Alzheimer's Missing In Reseda

RESEDA (CBSLA.com) — A 58-year-old man with the beginning stages of Alzheimer's is missing in Reseda.

The LAPD says Krikor Achekian was last seen Thursday morning around 10:45.

His family and the LAPD's Missing Persons Unit is asking the public to be on the lookout for Achekian.

He was last seen in front of a residence in the 17700 block of Arminta. Achekian left the location by foot and has not been seen since, said his family.

Achekian is described as a Middle Eastern male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. When last seen he was wearing a blue and khaki horizontal striped polo shirt with a green khaki style shorts and black sandals.

Anyone with information on Achekian's whereabouts is asked to contact the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800.
