Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Aug. 28)
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — We continue with hot and muggy conditions today.
Temperatures will rise above average and there is still plenty of moisture in place to make for an uncomfortable "bad hair" day.
That moisture, along with a little instability, is also providing for a shower and thunderstorm chance this afternoon in our mountains and the desert. However, there are no flash flood watches at this early hour.
The Holiday weekend will start out on a hot note for Friday, but we will see some gradually cooler weather by Labor Day.
By the middle of next week it looks like we are going to see some significant warming again.
