For those with the need for speed, there is an ideal location to thrill even the biggest adrenaline junkies, and it’s family friendly to boot! SpeedZone Los Angeles is a fun center that puts a whole new spin on go-kart racing, all while offering many other attractions as well.

This enormous facility has tracks and karts to fit every skill and thrill level. For the youngsters, try Lil’ Thunder, a kid-sized track with slower vehicles to give the young ones a chance at the fun. There are several options for the “big kids,” like the Top Eliminator Dragster that has 300 horse power, or Slick Trax, where you can try your hand at drifting. The more adventurous can try the Turbo Track, where the karts are equipped with high torque engines for excellent handling, or the Grand Prix, which is modeled after the Formula 1 circuit. With so many packages available, why not try them all?

When you’re done driving, play a round of Speedway Gold, bowl a game or two at the Strike Zone or simply spend some time in the arcade, Electric Alley. After you’re done playing, you can enjoy a burger at the in-house Johnny Rockets.

Arrive at the big kids’ playground in a vehicle that will be just as fun to drive as the go-karts at SpeedZone, like a 2013 ML350 BlueTEC SUV from Mercedes-Benz of Encino.
