Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Aug. 27)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The warm and muggy weather continues for Southern California.

Tropical moisture continues its surge into the area, and while yesterday didn't leave us with much in the way of storm development, there is a slight chance for thunderstorms and showers again today.

In fact, while we will get a brief break from the instability tomorrow, there is a chance for showers and t-storms for the rest of the week.

Temperatures may cool slightly today and tomorrow and then pump up again on Thursday.

But, regardless, humidity will be high and that will make it feel uncomfortable.  By the weekend a trough digs in and that should help us cool down a touch.
