LASD Detectives Investigating Death Of 14-Month-Old Boy

INGLEWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Monday were investigating the death of a 14-month-old boy who died at an Inglewood hospital.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives were sent to Centinela Hospital, 555 East Hardy Street, late Sunday to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of the child.

"The child was pronounced dead at the hospital at 11:15 p.m.," Deputy Kim Manatt said.

Details surrounding the boy's death were not released, however, authorities said an adult male is a suspect in the baby's death. Officials did not disclose the relationship between the man and the baby.
