Dodgers' Wilson Says Beard Isn't Going Anywhere

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The beard isn't going anywhere.

Los Angeles Dodgers closer Brian Wilson says he has no intention of shaving off his bushy black beard.

Wilson said Friday that he had heard rumors of a company offering him $1 million to sport a clean-shaven look.

"I would never consider doing that regardless of the sum of money," he said. "I don't care about someone paying me to tell me how to look."

Wilson refuses to trim his beard and says, "I have it because most people hate it."

A razor company had offered Wilson a six-figure payday to come clean.
